SMC X3 is a beveled edge linear ceiling system ideally suited to concealed services in corridors, or similar areas where quick and complete access to the void above is required. It is available either as free span, or to be installed in a concealed suspension system. The panels span up to 3m without intermediate suspension, and are supported by perimeter trims. The appearance of the units will be flat, and the main application is for service congested corridors. The units are supplied in 300mm module, and length from 600 to 3000 mm available. SMC X3 concealed strips ceiling are available in Plain (SMC ST-300SU), and perforated (SMC ST-300SP). SMC ST-300SP is profiled in micro perforated aluminum in 1.8mm micro perforation achieving an openness area of 20.5%. The system is profiled in micro perforated steel are backed by 0.2mm acoustic felt in lay, providing optimal acoustics, and hygiene. The steel thickness of the X3 metal concealed strips ceiling is 0.60mm. Steel Strips: (SMC X3.): ASTM A653M. Top side painted in white polyester color F196. Thickness of paint from 5 to 20 micron. Reverse side epoxy primer P001, foamspec. Thickness of paint 5 micron.
